Shaun and his team really know their stuff. I came back from the Alps camp feeling fitter than ever and having cycled some routes I would have previously considered impossible! The coaching was spot on and we all received a good amount of individual feedback; I left the camp with clear goals and knowing how I wanted to develop my training. The location is absolutely incredible as the lake is within spitting distance, several big alpine climbs are in the area and you can gaze at Mont Blanc whilst you eat your breakfast!

Egg Cameron - Alps Training Camp

I have never been on a cycling training camp (well any training camp actually) but my requests were very simple. Show/tell me how to improve my cycling up hills/mountains as I have 45kms of climbing to do in July over a 109km ride in the Alps, show me how to eat properly when cycling and give me a clue how not to melt my brake coming down a 35km descent off La Galibier!

In a nutshell I got what I asked for.

The coaches were obviously adept at quickly reading the various abilities within the group & altering the intensity & routes so that we all gained the most from the camp.

I felt that every aspect of the camp, from the informal but businesslike approach, to the individual tailoring, were right on the money. I doubt I could have enjoyed it more. I now know exactly where I am in my training, what I need to do and how to go about it, and that is what I went for as much as the riding.

"Many thanks for last night’s one-to-one coaching at Calne pool.  The session was really enlightening and very positive – it has given me a great deal more confidence in the water and has hinted at the potential of my abilities.  The analysis all makes sense and has provided some excellent pointers on which drills to concentrate on.  Nick and I found your coaching style very relaxed, but significantly it drilled to the core of our individual ‘issues’ and has provided a focus for the lead in to the season.  Many thanks for the swim drill sessions you attached to your e-mail, they will prove most useful and prevent us just plowing up and down the pool.  I’m now positive about reducing my swim times and actually looking forward to swim training for the first time!!!  It was definitely worth the outlay which for the two of us was very reasonably priced.  Once again, many thanks and best regards."

“I am in my second season in Triathlon. Mid season Shaun became my coach. I had no direction in training, and no real idea about nutrition and recovery. I now have well structured weekly sessions, with advice and guidance on hand, either through a quick telephone call or text. Having had a solid season this year I am looking forward to next season, knowing that Shaun will get me in the best shape possible.”

I started getting coaching from Shaun after I qualified for the European Triathlon Championships for the sprint distance. I wanted to do as well as I could, and the coaching helped me to achieve this - I got a personal best time!  I also raced at Bala in September and took 30 minutes off my Olympic distance time. I would never have achieved this without Shaun's guidance and advice.”
